About Us

Eighteen years of showing up on the worst day

Cleveland Hoarding Pros is a disabled-veteran-owned biohazard remediation and hoarding cleanup company. We handle crime scenes, unattended deaths, compulsive hoarding, animal waste, and severe odor across Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Lake Counties, and we have done it since 2005.

We are also an educational institution. Our online bio-recovery technician academy has certified students across the country, which is why our own crews work to a written standard rather than to habit.

Our Story

Started in 2005, and built around one complaint

The complaint was always the same. Families would call three companies during the worst week of their lives and get three phone numbers, none of them written down, none of them the final invoice. Someone would push them to sign that afternoon. Nobody would explain what insurance actually covered.

We built this company around the opposite of that. We publish our pricing openly. We send a written estimate before anyone touches anything, and we tell people to take their time and get other quotes. We explain coverage before we are asked. It has cost us jobs, and it has earned us a BBB A+ rating we have now held for more than ten years.

The Client Portal came from the same instinct. When an adult child three states away is paying for a parent's home to be cleared, they should be able to see photographs, approve scope, and read the final report without booking a flight. Nothing about that should require a phone call at nine at night.

And in 2026 we retired the five-day in-person academy and moved the entire curriculum online for $199, because the barrier to entering this trade had never been the tuition. It was five days of lost income and a flight, for people who did not yet have a business.

What We Stand For

Four things we will not trade away

These are the rules that decide how a job runs when nobody is watching.

Dignity first

Nobody who calls us is having a good day. We do not comment, we do not lecture, and we do not tell stories about a job afterward. That is a rule, not a preference.

Say the number out loud

Our prices are published on this website. Written estimates come before work, and the estimate is what you pay. This industry has earned its reputation and we are trying to change it.

Certify, then verify

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and HAZWOPER govern how we work, and ATP surface testing proves the result. We would rather show you a reading than ask you to trust us.

Teach what we know

We run a national online academy for bio-recovery technicians. Training other people to do this properly is part of the job, and it keeps our own standards honest.

Testimonials

What our clients say

“My mother passed away and we discovered her home had become severely hoarded over the past decade. We were overwhelmed and ashamed. Brandon and his crew treated my mom's belongings, and us, with such care. They found her wedding ring buried under three feet of newspapers. That ring is now on my daughter's hand. I can never thank them enough.”
Margaret R. Parma, OH
“I manage 40+ rental units in the Cleveland area. When a tenant left behind a cat-hoarding nightmare, feces in every room and destroyed flooring, they had it market-ready in four days. The estimate was accurate to the dollar.”
David K. Lakewood, OH
“After my brother's passing, I called three companies. Two tried to pressure me into signing immediately. Cleveland Hoarding Pros sent a written estimate, explained what insurance would cover, and told me to take my time deciding. That's who I chose.”
