What is bio-recovery technician certification?
Our nationwide online academy replaces the former five-day in-person course, opening the field to aspiring technicians everywhere. Bio-recovery technician certification credentials you to safely assess, contain, decontaminate, and dispose of biological hazards after a trauma, death, or severe contamination event. It is the baseline qualification in this industry and the thing insurers, employers, and serious clients ask about first.
The self-paced program covers OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens compliance, HAZWOPER fundamentals, crime scene and trauma remediation, PPE selection and use, and hoarding and gross filth work. Uniquely, it also teaches you how to start and run your own biohazard remediation business, which is the part most certifications leave out entirely and the part students tell us made the difference.
Why does that matter? Because a technical certificate with no business foundation produces certified people who still cannot get started. Licensing varies by state. Insurance requirements are specific and unforgiving. Equipment budgets are easy to get badly wrong in both directions. Pricing is where most new operators quietly lose money for their first year. We teach all of it, because we have made those mistakes ourselves and there is no reason for you to repeat them.
Certification is $199, frequently discounted 50 to 60 percent from the former live training rate. Taught by working technicians who are also industry instructors, using real scenes from real jobs rather than textbook hypotheticals.

“I have no background in this field”
Most students do not. The course starts from first principles. People come in from general cleaning, restoration, healthcare, law enforcement, and from entirely unrelated careers.
“Can I fit this around a full-time job?”
